Hello, and welcome. If you're reading this, you've found the very first post on the Bronn Software journal — and I'm genuinely glad you're here. I'm Geran Bronn, and I want to take a moment to introduce what this is, why it exists, and what I hope to build.
Why Bronn Software
I started Bronn Software with a simple conviction: that software, done well, can profoundly improve the way people and organisations work. Not software for its own sake — not the kind that adds friction and complexity — but software built with intention, around real problems, for real people.
That conviction has a name on this site: innovation with purpose. It's the idea that every project should deliver genuine value and improve efficiency, rather than chase novelty. Technology is at its best when it disappears into the background and simply makes life better.
What we do
Bronn Software is a custom software studio. We build bespoke solutions from scratch — web applications, cross-platform mobile and desktop apps, and increasingly AI-driven platforms. We work primarily with Flutter, which lets us deliver beautiful, performant experiences across every device from a single codebase.
But more than any particular technology, what defines us is the way we work: closely, collaboratively, and as a partner invested in your success rather than a vendor checking off a brief.
Each project is aimed at delivering value and improving efficiency for the people who use it.
What to expect from this journal
I'll be writing here regularly, in my own voice, about the things I care about: the craft of building software, the tools and frameworks I reach for, productivity and how I stay organised, and the occasional reflection on the bigger picture. My hope is that it's useful — that you leave a little more informed than you arrived.
