You can permanently delete your ClaritateAI account and all data associated with it at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

  • Your account (name, email, sign-in link to Google/Apple)
  • All transcripts, AI summaries, translations and speaker names stored on our servers
  • Your usage history
  • Any audio still awaiting transcription (completed recordings' audio was already deleted the moment transcription finished — see our privacy policy)

Recordings saved on your own device are yours and stay on your device — deleting your account does not touch them.

Option 1 — In the app (under a minute)

  1. Open ClaritateAI and go to the Settings tab
  2. Under Account, tap Delete account
  3. Type DELETE to confirm

Your account and all server-side data are removed immediately. Because you are signed in when you do this, no further identity verification is needed.

Option 2 — By email (if you no longer have the app)

Email admin@bronnsoftware.co.za with the subject line "ClaritateAI account deletion request", from the email address your account is registered under.

To protect you from malicious requests, we verify ownership before deleting anything: we reply with a confirmation message to the registered address, and only action the deletion once you confirm from that same address. A request naming your email but sent by someone else goes nowhere — the confirmation lands in your inbox, not theirs.

Email deletions are completed within 7 days of confirmation, and we'll send you a final notice when it's done.
